Safety Barrier Installation
A barrier has one job: take an impact and stay attached. That makes the fixing and the substrate behind it more important than the rail, which is also the part most often quietly value engineered out.

Why the fixing matters more than the rail
Barrier systems come with a fixing detail: anchor type, embedment depth, edge distance, and the substrate they rely on. Install the same rail with shorter anchors, or too close to a slab edge, or into concrete thinner than the detail assumed, and it looks identical while performing at a fraction of its rating.
This is the most common shortcut in barrier installation, and it becomes invisible the moment the base plate goes down. We install to the specified detail and check the substrate before drilling rather than after. Where the specified detail cannot work with what is actually on site, which happens more often than anyone would like, we stop and raise it instead of improvising.
Where barriers go in
Car park perimeters and level edges, loading docks and dock faces, traffic and pedestrian separation inside warehouses, plant and machinery protection, walkway segregation, and site perimeter barriers.
Barrier loads for car parks and similar structures are set by the structural code and applied by the project engineer. We install to that specification, and where we cannot, you hear about it before the work happens rather than after.
