Safety barriers for Western Sydney warehouses.
For builders, developers and facilities managers. Written quotes with the scope stated, priced against your drawings.
Homestead Group installs safety barriers, bollards and guard rail across Western Sydney's logistics belt: Eastern Creek, Erskine Park, Arndell Park, Huntingwood and the M7 corridor. Installed to the engineer's detail, with the concrete repair and reinstatement work available from the same contractor.
The M7 corridor is one of the largest concentrations of warehouse floor in the country, and every one of those floors has racking ends, dock approaches and pedestrian routes that need protecting. Barrier work out here is rarely a green-field install: it is staging around live forklift traffic, working to a facilities manager's window, and matching an existing system that has been hit more than once.
What separates barrier work from bolting yellow steel to a floor is the fixing detail. Anchor size, embedment and edge distance decide whether a barrier holds when a forklift finds it, and all three disappear the moment the install is finished. We install to the detail the engineer specified and raise it with them when the slab will not take that detail, because guessing at a substitute is how barriers fail their one job.
The three-trade structure matters most on older floors. Impact-damaged slab edges, spalled dock corners and failed joints are common through the older Arndell Park and Huntingwood stock, and a barrier line over failing concrete is a barrier line that will not hold. One contractor doing the repair and the reinstall removes the gap where that problem usually hides.
The full service is described at Safety Barriers, and the residential side of where we work is at service areas.
