Concrete Contractors Sydney

Concrete gives you one pour to get it right. We prepare the base, place the steel at the specified cover, and cure the slab properly so it performs for decades instead of cracking through its first summer.

Nearly every concrete failure we get called out to repair traces back to something you cannot see in the finished surface. A base that was never compacted. Reinforcement sitting at the wrong cover. Joints in the wrong place, or a slab that was left to dry out instead of being cured.

The pour itself is the short part of the job. Everything before and after it is where a slab is actually won, so we handle the lot: excavation, base preparation, formwork, steel, the pour, the finish and the cure. One crew stays accountable end to end, which means nothing falls into the gap between subcontractors.

How we run it

  • Base prepared and compacted before anything is formed
  • Reinforcement chaired to the cover the engineer specified
  • Joints set out from the drawings, not decided on the day
  • Curing carried out properly, which is the step most crews skip
  • Formwork and concrete run as one job, not two subcontracts
