Guard Rail & Safety Barrier Installation
Guard rail only works if it is fixed to something that can carry the load. We install barriers, bollards and handrails to the detail your engineer or certifier specified, and we raise it rather than improvise when the site will not take that detail.
A barrier has to absorb an impact and stay attached, which makes the fixing and the substrate behind it more important than the rail. That is also the part nobody can see once the base plate is down. A bollard core drilled too shallow looks identical to a compliant one right up until somebody tests it.
We install to the detail the engineer or certifier has specified. Where what is actually on site will not take that detail, which happens more often than anyone would like, we stop and raise it instead of quietly substituting something that looks the same.
