Formwork carpenters across Western Sydney.
For builders, developers and facilities managers. Written quotes with the scope stated, priced against your drawings.
Homestead Group runs formwork carpentry crews across Western Sydney, from the Marsden Park and Box Hill release areas through the Eastern Creek and Erskine Park industrial belt. Slab edges, walls and columns set out from the engineer's drawings, stripped clean, with the pour available from the same contractor.
Western Sydney is where most of the city's new floor area is actually being poured. The release areas around Marsden Park, Box Hill and Austral are running slab programs street by street, while the industrial belt through Eastern Creek, Erskine Park and Kemps Creek pours warehouse floors measured in thousands of square metres. Both need formwork crews that set out from drawings and keep a program, not a subbie who turns up when the last job lets go.
The ground out here shapes the formwork as much as the drawings do. Much of the west sits on reactive clay of the Cumberland Plain, so edge beams are deeper, set-downs are more common, and the difference between the drawings and what the site will actually take shows up at form stage first. Our carpenters flag that conversation before the pour rather than after it, because we are usually pouring it too.
For builders, the practical difference of one contractor across form and pour is the mornings you do not spend refereeing. The formworker who set the edge is answerable for the edge that comes out of it, and there is no gap between stripping one trade and mobilising the next. Access off the M4 and M7 keeps mobilisation across the west inside a normal morning.
The full service is described at Formwork Carpentry, and the residential side of where we work is at service areas.
